Tour Detail

Daegu is an exciting, multifaceted city with something to offer everyone. Course 1 takes you to some of the most scenic parts of the city, and offers a glimpse into its cultural history.

The tour starts with a ride on the Palgongsan Mountain Cable Car, which runs 1.2 km deep into the mountains.
Get off at the peak and enjoy the panoramic views in a café or continue your journey on the hiking trail.

The hiking trail will take you to the next stop on the tour, Donghwasa Temple. Nestled in a valley at the base of the mountains, the temple dates back to the 5th century but has a timeless atmosphere. It is a popular destination for Buddhist worship and Zen meditation.

It is also the resting place of an enormous Yaksayore-bul statue, commonly known as Medicine Buddha, who represents the importance of the idea of ‘healing’ in the local culture.

This tour invites you to relax and take a break from the busy conference schedule to recharge your senses and energize your mind.
